Kelsi Kee: DFW BLUES/ROCK SINGER
Kelsi Kee is one of D/FW’s most exciting singers. Often compared to Janis Joplin, or Bonnie Raitt, her performances are sure to thrill with high energy vocals, astonishing range, perfect pitch, and an ability to cover some classics with a distinctive new voice. Kelsi is frequently accompanied by local acoustic guitar musician Stephen Goodson.
Kelsi is also the frontwoman of her Blues/Classic Rock band ”Kelsi & Krew”.
DJ Ish D: Music Producer would be my overall theme. The producer roll to me is being in charge of all things musical. Whether that be setting up equipment, to even setting the vibes right. I look at being a producer similar to being a therapist. Music is a release for a lot, so it always been about converting. Those emotions into tunes.
I’m most proud of the way my approach has been towards this music game. It’s always about the pivot with me and being able to adjust. Whether it’d be a new sound, new technology, new media. It’s a hard thing to do. I’d also would attribute that to being what sets me apart from others, I’ve always tried to stay up on what’s new.
