Self-parking is available at 1212 Jackson Street on weekdays after 4 p.m. and all day on weekends. It’s free with merchant validation. Additionally, surface lot parking is available nearby.
What is the AT&T Discovery District?
The AT&T Discovery District is a downtown destination in the heart of Dallas offering a variety of ways to dine, play and connect. This space will have everything you need to make it your new go-to when you want something fun to do downtown.
Why did AT&T build the AT&T Discovery District?
Downtown Dallas is our home, and that’s why we’re investing in it to make it an even better place to live, work and visit! In addition to creating a world-class workspace for our employees, we believe our planned improvements could have long-term economic benefits to area businesses and the city. We can’t wait for you to discover all that the AT&T Discovery District will have to offer.
What can I do at the District?
The possibilities are endless. From an outdoor event space to a variety of restaurants to innovative tech experiences – we’ll have something for everyone. Get ready to catch performances from local artists and screenings of beloved films. We’ll also have events for the whole family. We know good entertainment, and we’re excited to share it with you.
How do I get to the District?
The AT&T Discovery District is located at 208 S Akard St, Dallas, TX 75202. Self-parking is available at 1212 Jackson Street on weekdays after 5 p.m. and all day on weekends. It’s free with merchant validation. Additionally, surface lot parking is available nearby.
The District is also accessible by the DART Red, Blue, Green and Orange lines via Akard Station.
When did the District open?
The AT&T Discovery District fully opened in June 2021 with the grand opening of the two-story food hall The Exchange.

Is the District only open to AT&T employees?
This is a place for everyone, so please come enjoy it! Whether you live and work downtown or just come to visit for the evening, there’s a space at the AT&T Discovery District for you.
What hours is the District open to the public?

Is the District a family-friendly space?
Of course! The AT&T Discovery District is 100% family-friendly and we encourage our guests to bring their children to experience all that the District has to offer. We will also have children-specific events in the future.
Is the District pet-friendly?
Pets on a leash are welcome in The Plaza area! We do ask that your pets use the designated pet relief area and that you clean up after your pet. To ensure visitors have an enjoyable experience on our lawn space, animals will not be permitted in this area except for service animals. Service animals must be harnessed, leashed or tethered, or the individual using the animal must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal or other effective controls.
What are the rules for food & beverage in the District?
You may purchase food and beverages from District vendors. Outside food and drink are not permitted, you will be asked to throw it away upon entry. Only 21+ are permitted to consume alcohol at The AT&T Discovery District. We have a no-tolerance policy for underage consumption of alcohol.
What items are prohibited in the District?
Backpacks, large bags, outside coolers, outside alcohol, fold-out picnic tables, noise devices, and items deemed unsafe including glass containers and fireworks are prohibited.
Guests, including law enforcement personnel, not present in an official capacity, are prohibited from bringing weapons onsite. Weapons include but are not limited to, the following: Firearms, explosives, stun guns, handcuffs, brass knuckles, sticks, clubs, batons, martial arts instruments, pepper spray, tear gas, and knives. Guests found in possession of the above-mentioned items will be asked to remove the item from the District or dispose of it. Guests who refuse to comply will be asked to leave and may be subject to arrest.
What items are approved to bring into the District?
Lawn chairs, blankets and other forms of mobile seating are permitted here in The District.
