4th Annual Native American Heritage Month Powwow

CULTURE

Join the Inter-Tribal Council of AT&T Employees (ICAE) at the AT&T Discovery District as we honor and celebrate Native American Heritage Month November 9 from 10am-6pm!

From Gourd dancing, performances from tribes across the USA, dance contests and exhibitions, drummers and more – experience a rich showcase of culture, traditions, and art that spans generations.

Following the powwow at 7pm, settle in on the lawn for a special edition of Movies on the Lawn featuring Te Ata (TAY’ AH-TAH). The film is based on the inspiring, true story of Mary Thompson Fisher, a woman who traversed cultural barriers to become one of the greatest First American performers of all time. Te Ata is presented by the Dallas International Film Festival and the Inter-Tribal Council of AT&T Employees with special permission from the Chickasaw Nation.
