Red Bull "Coded Cleats"

Introducing Red Bull “Coded Cleats” where EAFC meets the actual pitch! Scores combine and players must merge in-person soccer with digital game play, to take home the title of Red Bull Coded Cleats Champion!

How it Works

Teams of 6 players compete against another team with 4 players on a small soccer pitch and 2 players competing in EA SPORTS FC on game consoles. Both matches take place at the same time and operate on a unified EA SPORTS FC game clock where at halftime players on the console will have to swap with 2 players from their team on the pitch.

Goals scored on both the pitch and in the video game count toward the team’s combined total, creating a fast-paced battle where strategy and teamwork determine the winner. At the final whistle, the team with the highest combined score claims victory.

Qualifier Event

Qualifier matches will take place the day before on June 5, 2026 at 5:00 PM at City Futsal, where teams will compete for a chance to earn their spot in the final competition. Players 18 years and older interested in competing can register their teams for the Red Bull Coded Cleats Qualifier Tournament through the event website. Participation in the qualifier is limited to the first 24 approved teams, who will compete in a tournament-style format.

Red Bull Coded Cleats will be free and open to the public, inviting soccer fans, gamers, and spectators alike to experience the hybrid event live. Fans attending at AT&T Discovery District will be able to watch the matches up close and participate in additional activations onsite.
